Successfully designed biomedical facilities provide highly specialized
environments that meet the stringent needs of research settings
without compromising safety, efficiency and aesthetics. To
achieve these goals, the design must be developed as a collaborative
effort among scientists, technicians, administrators and a team
of skilled architects and engineers that are attune to the special
requirements of this demanding building type.
With over 15 years of experience in the planning, design and construction
of biomedical research facilities, the AEPA Architects Engineers,
P.C. team is uniquely qualified to help clients achieve their facilities'
objectives. We have successfully completed over 200 biomedical
research laboratories, clinical and vivarium projects for clients
that include leading biomedical institutions such as the National
Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration, Centers for
Disease Prevention and Control, and the American Red Cross.
Our international experience includes projects in China, Taiwan,
India and Puerto Rico.
AEPA emphasizes individualized client service and
reliance on design professionals with proven track records and current
knowledge of rapidly changing industry standards. Our projects
range from small renovations and additions to major biotechnological
centers. Each project is afforded the expertise and innovation
of senior personnel to ensure the best possible outcome for our
clients.
Biomedical facilities comprise the core of our practice.
We welcome the challenge that they provide, and look forward to
the unique elements that each new project brings. |
