Project: Tongzhou Wastewater Treatment Plant
Looks
like a scenic lake! On a daily basis this plant converts 100,000
tons of waste water to fresh water!
With the exclusive Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse technology of
Sheaffer & Roland, Inc., AEPA designed and constructed the Tongzhou
Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tongzhou, China.
Unlike other waste water treatment plants, there is hardly any odor
or sludge produced, thereby reducing the construction and maintenance
costs dramatically. No chemicals nor bacteria need to be used.
This technology enables a wastewater treatment plant to be
developed anywhere in the city. Thus, the costs of pipes and
pumpstations can be greatly reduced.
New development districts and those communities without access to
major public sewer lines (for ex. near mountain or isolated resort
areas) can greatly benefit from this design technology.
